I love CVS. Great deals. Don’t forget to mention that if the item you buy has an Ibotta or Fetch rebate you save even more. I’ve helped my family members and donated a lot of toiletries and household items to a local women’s shelter too. You’ll be surprised how quick your stockpile grows!

I learned a hard lesson with the application of Extra Care Bucks at self-checkout because I applied $10 to a $4 purchase not realizing that the remainder wouldn’t stay in my account. Sad. 😢 I won’t make that mistake again though. 😅

Oh, no! I'm sorry you learned that the hard way but thanks for sharing that lesson with everyone. ECB will be adjusted down so definitely use your Extra Care Bucks wisely!

CVS is so expensive and the deals are often for items i don't use. I loved your haul but I'll stick with Dollar General for now. Their deals match my preferrnces.

Yes! The CVS card is completely free - and yes, the sales and deals are national, so anything you see me get, you could totally get too!

How often can you scan it, daily? I love Star She knows how to shop! Is the card free?

Yes! The CVS card is completely free. And yes, you could scan daily when you go into the store. Sometimes you get lots of coupons and sometimes not as many - but it's always worth scanning to see!

CVS confuses me. It seems like people double count the value of their extra care bucks. If you buy something for $10 and get a $5 extra care buck for next time, it feels like you only paid $5 for the item (but you really paid $10). But then the next time you buy something for $10 and use your $5 extra care bucks to pay for it, it again seems like it only cost you $5 (and you did only pay $5 out of pocket). That means you bought $20 worth of products and only paid $10 for it, but in reality you bought $20 worth of stuff and paid $15 for them both. Am I grasping that correctly? This is why CVS confuses me. I keep thinking I’m not saving as much as I think I should be compared to what others are saving. (I know we shouldn’t be comparing ourselves to others, but I just can’t wrap my head around CVS math.) 🤷‍♀️
