The shirt shoulders were hanging off the model’s shoulders- if that’s not the style you’re going for, how would you adjust the shoulders before shortening the sleeves?

Your shirt ended up nicely done, but you didn't help me understand how you knew where to cut so hem was strsight. You may have known st what angle to lay the ruler but I surely don't a d you did not demonstrate how to find this either.
