Thank you very much! I found this because my IKEA desk is too tall for me, although I'm not adjusting for Lego purposes, this really helped me out!

I don't build lego setups or anything cool like that but I do have a full gaming setup that I use on top of this same table and my chair doesn't lift as high as I need it to be flush with the desk, I'm gonna try and do this tomorrow as this looks very promising. Thank you for the quick rundown of this I appreciate it!

Thank you for this. I just bought a LINNMON table and 4 ADILS legs for $25 and it is going to be my keyboard/mouse table for use with a desk that is too high for me to type on comfortably.

And currently, at least in my area, LINNMON tabletops in white are just $8.99, and ADILS legs in white or black are just $4 each!

Hey i am having the same problem and i am 6 feet tall. What would be the recommended table hight for comfortable keyboard typing? My lagkapten table is 75cm tall which makes my leg float if i were to adjust the chair handles as the same hight of the table Thanks.

Great tutorial! Btw do you think the cut take a toll on the legs strength? Because I'm planning to cut about 4 inches to support an existing table top with drawers

I think the shorter the leg the stronger the base.

I ee we have the exact same solution for building our city on. I also use Linnmon tables with Adils legs (mostly) but then I use some MDF plates for raised areas and legs pre-fabricated at other lengths shorter than the Adils ones.

Yes, i really like the linnmon tables so i wanted to stick with them too raise the city a bit, so that was the solution i came up with. I figured others probably figured this out. I'm sure there are some who aren't as clever, so i thought this video might help them. 😊

So many people use this tables, and I would love to use them one day. We don’t have a IKEA near us though. Delivery is an option I guess.

You know what the closest store to me is 6 hrs away!!!! Lol I too have to order mine on line and have them shipped. The only thing i suggest if you do plan to order online is to make sure everything you order is worth it because shipping can be pricey! In other words if you plan to buy several tablets at a time it's worth it, but if you only need one, you may and up paying more for the shipping then the actual item! Then again everything coming to my state cost more because i live in NY state!

i ordered a $10 linnmon table top and the shipping was so expensive the total was almost $50 thats why they should have more ikeas near by

So are u extending and making your LEGO city layout bigger?

Well I'm taking some advice from Dr. McBricks. Its actually something i had considered doing in the future regardless, but by raising a section of the city i will be able to take advantage of the room underneath to run my trains! As you've heard me talk about plenty of times is how I'm having a hard time being able to fit all of the scenes, i would really like to fit in my city. So my hopes are that by doing this i will be able to regain some of the room i needed to be able to do some of the other things.
