How to Shuffle - Rocking Tutorial

Someone has watched a lot of Mikki videos. Also, "rocking" isn't a style, it's a colloquialism for shuffling that was used back in the day (ie having a rock).

Hate to be that guy but without the reverse t-step this isn't really rocking, just melbourne. Turning with the front kick is a useful transition and it looks damn good when y'all do it but if you watch SR, NR, WDH, etc, you can spot them using the reverse t-step as their main tool for transitioning momentum and switching directions, which is what the rocking style is defined by. Also, this is just a personal opinion, but people shouldn't be scared to shuffle in planes other than a simple left-right strafe. I feel that the strafe gets boring and the '3d' effect of shuffling forward and backwards or in a circle brings a lot of new concepts to the dance. Other than that this is a great video though and I think you guys should do more

The style you call "Rocking" is Melbourne. Rocking is just another term for shuffling and was used before the phrase "The Melbourne Shuffle". So when you see any shuffler, shuffling, they are also a rocker whose..rocking lol
