Hi Gentry. My titanium shutter hit the floor and got black on the edges but doesn't have a bump. What happened to it? Will this affect playability?

I think it is a scorch mark because if you walk the dog on like cement and stuff it will spark. I don't know if it should affect the playability, but I don't think it would

try throwing the yoyo and then use a diffrent finger to do it my fingernails are really short so i can only do it for like 5 seconds because my skin touches the inside of the yoyo

my hands and my fingernails are too small i can sort of do it from a normal throw onto my middlefinger nail but only for a few seconds because the skin is kinda touching the yoyo

@@vomix9370 I have a friend who is short and plays with a really long string (from the floor to his chest) but that's just his preference, I'm 6 ft and play with a short string just because i can play faster. If you feel like you need a longer string, try it out. Height doesn't matter, just experiment with different lengths until you are comfortable!

@@sacredcow61 yes but if you are around 5 ft tall like me the string is gonna be too short for alot of tricks and if i use string that goes up to like my neck it might work but then id have to throw and put my arm up as hogh as a can or else ill ding the yoyo i but with the way gentry showed how to determin the string length for your hight it doesnt alow me to do certain tricks i forgot the name of the trick but its like a man on flying trapeze and then you hold 1 part of the string next to the yoyo to fix string tension that doesnt work for me

shutter grinds are just straight up black magic i have small fingernails and a small hang so i can only sort of do it by throwing first but it still looks like black magic even if it stops after a few seconds because my skin is touching the inside because small fingernails
