I am glad I found your videos. I took sign classes at a local community college but I lost most of what I learned when I stopped volunteering where there was a deaf girl working. I work somewhere where a deaf gentleman comes through almost dairy and I still know enough to talk to him. I am glad I can get a refresher to expand my sign language vocabulary.

Hi Rachel, thanks for sharing! It's so great that you've found local classes and are continuing your ASL learning. Hope it helps you better communicate with your customer!

Ohhhh thank you, I might have finally got it! LOL the numbers are really tricky for me for some reason. As always thank you so much. Love your videos, and smiles as well. Please be safe and stay healthy for you and your family.

Numbers came so easily to me. 1-100 in 30 minutes. You're a fantastic teacher of ASL Meredith. Again, I thank you.

I've noticed that when doing #"s that some go from left to right and right to left. For example: 67- You would go from right of your body to left inwards. 76- You would go from left to right outwards from body out. Is this correct?
@ASLMeredith3 жыл бұрын
Yes, that's right. Did you watch the first 2 minutes with the number pattern overview? I point out that there are only 6 numbers for which you twist inward. This is natural, because of how you're moving from the lower number (and further on your hand) to the higher number) more inward on your hand).

@@ASLMeredith- I probably did but didn't notice much at first cause I was focusing on how the numbers were being formed with the fingers. Thank you. See! I'm learning.
