She's technically warming up by starting with easy songs. So yeah. Do your warm ups, guys. Any warm up of any type. Singing is like any other physical activity. Prepare accordingly and stay healthy!

@vene no What type of warm ups are you doing?
@BrandosLife5 жыл бұрын
@vene no I can't really hear you so imma just assume. Are u increasing ur volume as you're going up the scale just to make it through? If yes, you need to stop pushing and stop when it starts getting uncomfortable. You should be doing the exercises roughly at the same volume level. Are you 'singing from you diaphram'?? So are you engaging your stomach muscles when you're doing the exercies and when singing?? If no, learn how to and master your breathing. Learn to sing on less breath ect. Have you drunk enough water throughout the day?? If no, you should be drinking several glasses throughout the day to keep the vocal cords hydrated!! Are you mentally in the right mood to sing? If no, remember singing is like 80% mental. If you ain't feeling it your mind probs ain't either. If you're feeling tension, try figuring out where its coming from cause that is also a stamina killer!! Also make sure ur using not just chest voice but head voice too to balance out the compression; not putting too much / too little pressure on the cords for a long period of time. Ermmm i think i've covered some stuff....if u need more help im here lol

this is my set list: 1. easy 2. easy 3. easy 4. kinda easy 5. medium 6 to 8. hard song that is actually kinda easy, it just needs a specific technique. now, this is where i do my 2-3min spiel. aaand. 9 and 10, easy songs that can be mash-up in a medley. and that's basically a very good vocal warm up.

@ejassi34255 жыл бұрын
I think maybe you didn't lose ur voice because u were singing in ur tessitura(comfort zone).and lower..because you're not belting,,how about belters?You need to warm up first even a hum or a lip trill before singing,,not a good advice not to warm up,,but yeah everyone's body is different from one another...
@Jacobsvocalacademy5 жыл бұрын
She actually didn't advice people to not warm up. She actually said you should. She just said that she doesn't warm up herself. She starts within her comfort zone and then move her way up instead, which is kinda like warming up anyway. But you are right It's definitely a good idea to warm up.

One HUGE thing that she didn't mention is taking breaks. No matter if I am singing for 3 hours or 6 hours. I always make sure to take 5-10 minutes breaks after every 50 minutes regardless of how long the gig is. The only time I don't take breaks is if it's a 1-2 hour gig at a special event like a wedding.

Don’t belt. Learn to use your head voice and mixed for higher notes. This will prevent you from losing your voice for years.
@lakshyasharma19404 жыл бұрын
Using head voice too much used to reduce my chest voice range. It creates a comfortable zone which lies in head voice. Therefore it is necessary to sing a song in chest voice which is required to sing in that way, otherwise slowly you would lose your belting power.

Did anyone else watch the webinar? It was long with so much irrelevant info. There was a point she said she built her house from scratch then another point said she had rent to pay .... like what? The product is 997 n she just threw it out at the end with such minimal info into the products On top of that not even finding her on social media She kept saying in the video that she didn't need the followers to start but y would someone of the calibre she's boasting about not automatically get the attention Look out guys b be careful Also u cannot see the chat box and the webinar is not live as they claim. They gave an option for a rerun but I'm pretty sure wat i waited for waa a rerun So again just be careful

Hey Anna. Im sorry you didn’t like the webinar. It’s correct that it wasn’t live. We are currently running a webinar replay and then we are experimenting a bit with some other webinars as well that are live. I guess running this as a replay was a bad idea 😅 so sorry about that. About her social media, she actually is on social media. Here is her Instagram for example: instagram.com/kristinemirelle?igshid=1jc20w828bj6y And she is on KZbin as well. Her channel is called “The Starving Musician’s Guide” She just wanted to let you know that you don’t NEED a following to actually be able to make a living with music. Hope that clarified it a bit. We are definitely not trying to scam anyone. We always give 100% refund guarantee so if it happens that you do buy and don’t like the course, then we will gladly give the money back
