I'm going to give you tips. Singing from your throat will cause more damage, you don't want that. That's going to be a way to hurt it even more. Singing from your diaphragm is a strong support to help your breathing correctly. This woman has no idea what's she talking about. (That's my opinion, don't base to agree) A family member taught me these tips and it helps me ever since... I had improved. I rather for you to take my tips and improve them... If you agree.

The only vocal coach on KZbin not scared to make a terrible sound. Other coaches sound perfect when demonstrating wrong technique and it's quite demoralizing and makes one feel that you have to be born a certain way to sing well.

Look at Victoria's Victorious Singing Tips. When she demonstrates she shows what people do that's wrong. She also shows his do it correctly, of course. And she's got a wonderful personality. She's an amazing teacher. I have learned so much already from her and for the first time in years I am actually making great progress.

I ADORE this video and this approach! This makes sense to me. I have watched so many videos about sing from your diaphgram etc but as someone who feels disconnected from my body (and not to mention chubby), it's like trying to see while being blind. I needed it put another way for me for it to make sense in my brain. I remember there was this magical moment in my teenage years -- and it only happened once! -- where I was singing and singing and then I reached this point where my range was so wide and noticed this: I didn't use a lot of air. It didn't feel forceful at all. Doing those super high notes didn't feel forceful at all and so did going lower. Your video made it *click* in my brain that -- hey, that time you sang fluidly and fully with using minimal air IS on the right track to something. Thank you so much for this!

Or should I forecast my potential vocal prowess using QiMen? Q::How to know that we are using our throat voice or chest voice (chest voice means using of lungs)?? Answer::::::::: Throat voice:: If you're feeling uncomfortable after few minutes during singing means feeling tired or voice blast at high notes that's major indication that you are using your throat which is not recommended at all Lungs/chest voice:: If you are not feeling tired pressure on your muscles during singing and your high notes are easily accessible for you without using any body force and not blasting of your voice smoothly using it at high pitch its the indication that you are already on the best path(using chest voice) its recommended that always use chest voice for smooth high notes and without the blasting of your voice Stay blessed ❤️

When you're supposed to sing in diaphragm and not with throat is it supposed to sound higher in pitch? I kinda like the pitch and depth of my voice when singing with throat. When I attempt to sing without throat I feel like I'm raising my pitch. I don't like the tone much compared to when I just sing normally w/throat. Thanks!
