How To Sing High Notes in Mixed Voice

Note for female viewers: The demonstrations and examples I gave is suited to my vocal range. The explanations I give were centered around a typical male vocal range. Everything I said in this video will still apply for the female voice, your vocal break will just be higher than what I demonstrated here. The same principals still apply however, as you also need to first develop a strong unrestricted voice in your medium to low range and also develop the ability to sing into your very high range in a very light tone before being able to consistently sing in your high range in mixed voice.

I'm a high baritone and I struggle hitting the notes from C#5 to E5 in mixed voice. I can hit till D5 but it sounds a bit forced rather than with the proper feel. Whereas my head voice allows me to go comfortably from E5 till B5. I just want to know whether my inability to comfortably hit and sustain the notes from C#5 till E5 in mixed voice is something related to range limitations or is it something that I can get through with a proper technique? And if its the latter, I would like you to make a video on that if possible.

Baritones can't hit any note higher than C5, not even a light baritone

i kinda have the same problem. i can go up to F5 and alot of the time i sound a little squeezed but i can bring resonance up to the note. idk what to do. comfortable notes i can hit range from F3-C5 with ease and full resonance and i can do it up to D5 but but its a little difficult hitting Eb and E5

@@candyblingggggg d5 is very high for a baritone.. you can try to make it distorted to get a fuller sound

can you tech how to not have a husky voice when singing a pop punk song? i’ve been singing in a pop punk band lately but still i cant figure out how to remove the husky sound that i make when i sing high notes. hope you can help.

When I try to sing high notes with my chest voice it cracks and suddenly turn into head voice and it hurts actually so what should I do? I really wanna sing high notes with chest not with head voice

I can only only go to F#3 without falsetto. Puberty can smd

I really really like your videos and hope your channel grow more so you can keep on bringing such good content. The way you sound is like goals. Pop punk is my favorite style and have been taking lessons for the past 2 years but it seems I'm not getting any better. I feel like I sound like a tenor, but from E4 I either strain A LOT or go to falsetto (and either way I think can go really high, not properly though). So my voice doesn't sound free and I am most likely hurting it. In the middle of so much information here on youtube, I don't really know which exercises to focus. Would you suggest me anything? why i can sing and E above the tenor high C in chest?? what kind of tenor am i?? my lowest note its and A2 but i sound very small in low notes, im singin more comfortable above the central C, all in chest, i dont use mixed voice because i never practiced it, but my high range is extensive

I've heard that you have to sing like a crow or like Dingo Goofy to get he mix voice. What do you think of it ?

Those types of exercises can work but I'd have to hear if you were doing it correctly to tell you if it's good or not

I listened to your clip. You're closer to falsetto than to a mixed voice. But you are actually quite close, let me tell you that going to the sound you are currently making is actually better than if your voice just cracked and broke. You're going to need to learn how to pull up more of your full voice/chest voice sound into your mix (without straining of course). I can help you with this. I'd reccomend you to book a Skype lesson with me because we can work on this issue directly.
