How do you get your tongue to stay down?!

try pushing it down, like, glue it down. Idk how to explain lmao like, maybe pretend someone is pulling it down yk?

If I do that there’s tension in the front of my neck which surely shouldn’t be there? Doesn’t help I am tongue tied I guess 😅

Try to keep the tip of the tongue against the back of your bottom front teeth.

@@joshdaniels2363 that doesn’t stop the back of my tongue lifting up. It’s almost like an arching…? The front can stay low and behind teeth but the back is lifted

@@llGarnettoll That's normal and usually helpful, not harmful. If your tongue is lifted and humped in the back/middle, then it's not pushing on your larynx, which is usually a source of problems (it's why many teachers try to train you not to retract your tongue, because doing so pushes your larynx down).
