You are such a bright beam of sunshine, Kerri! Thank you always for your encouragement. Those of us who always have a song in our hearts, simply HAVE to sing...it's SOUL FOOD, and the more we feel comfortable doing it, the more enjoyable it is.

It's been 4 months, we are eagerly awaiting your next video. And I really look forward to you releasing your new project. I've watched so many of your videos that I feel like I know you. Your associate teachers are very nice but this is your channel and you are the star.

thanks kerri I found your channel a while ago and was skeptical about searching help on KZbin for my singing (I'm a natural talent Singer) I been in a runt and depressed about my singing voice because I feel like I'm losing it I then wanted to look up how to take care of myself and voice so I can keep the dream of me being a singer alive I've been dreaming of being a Singer since 7 years old and I want to go to Korea to sing and be a kpop star but due to this depression I felt like I was losing my voice (I didn't practice much I just sing ) felt like I wasn't good enough because of amazing singers boys and girls that we're good and seemed better than me but luckily I found your channel I'm learning so much and I saw this today and it gave me encouragement now I'm creating a plan to work on my vocals before my audition for a company and singing competition I like to say thank you for this I hope God blesses you and love you lol

I've been watching your videos for years and it's always been great to have those quick lessons and bits of advice when I needed them most. I've just been cast in my first musical ever (9 to 5) and I've definitely been using some of the techniques that I've learned through The Songbird Tree!

Hey Kerri! I love your videos and you have helped me alot in transforming my voice but i need your help now. I have an up coming audition and the song I will be singing is Halo by Beyonce. It would be a super big help if you could make a video on how to sing that. Thanks!

Hello, I am a classical singer so I usually sing with my head voice but lately I've been tackling Broadway and I have a really hard time reaching high notes with my chest voice and I can't reach low notes as well. If you see this please help me and give me some tips if possible thank you!
@KerriHo8 жыл бұрын
Hi there Anna. Please be careful and don't pull your chest voice too high. You can get a stronger voice by developing a stronger head voice and learning how to mix your voice. I have free resources on my website - check out the How to Sing High Notes and How to Belt and Mix Your Voice. These resources will get you on your way to developing healthy technique to sing with the power you are wanting. =)

Thank you so much for the advice! I had to stop my Broadway style of training and continue with my classical style because it turned out that the Broadway style was putting a strain on my voice.

I have exactly the same problem. they shouldnt be two different things. i mean, voice is produced in the same manner but they look so different and one of them prevents improving of the other one.

I always search for "how to sing" and everything is like "finding your headvoice", "chestvoice", "singing from your diaphragm", and all I do is being confused and not watching any video. What is singing? Where do I start? What's the difference between them? From where do I correctly sing? Please answer me:)

Thank you your videos have helped a ton. I had a question. I have 30 songs I practice. 15 one day and the following 15 the next day. Should I sing my weaker songs more often than others on a daily basis? I normally sing each song one time. Thank you
@KerriHo8 жыл бұрын
+Djar - That's a great question! I think it's good to mix it up, however as a general rule, it's good to start with a good vocal warm up (there are several vocal exercises for you to warm up with here in this channel!) and then start with some of your easier songs. Put a few challenging songs about halfway or more into your "list" and then end with some easier songs.

Negativity is the enemy. At least I think so. Oh by the way, it is uncanny to me how much you look like my vocal coach/accompanist.

+The Songbird Tree Kerri Ho Hello Kerri! You're my favorite youtube singing coach and a very positive bright person in general! Have u ever thought that instead of all the 'logical, I will help explain all this stuff i Know in my mind and serve you people with it!" - that u could actually get creative and think of new things for us. I mean instead of explaining all known sh't out there but what about discovering anything new... (i know it's a vague term im sorry.) To put it in practise I mean like; making new songs, playing with ur voice, goofying, getting... I dunno, creative and appearing at random events with help for mute children? (a little black humor there) Making random avant-garde videos with the human voice as the primary ...vessel for carrying the stories . Or just singing in the streets accappella flash-mob, it would be fun to watch! :D I wish u all the best, and _Creative_ i believe was the word i was looking for in my rant!D
