What if your heating strip element isn't heating up fully, it has hot spots through the strip visually. Looks as though it is not getting hot enough. Also, 5kw strip was on my HVAC system but now i got 10 kw or 15 kw strip on it now. Any suggestions

@@TaddyDigest pricing is the number 1 reason HVAC companies fail and or go out of business. Vital topic. I'm building my own price book. It includes "services" and not "items" or "parts" .... I'm not a supplier but a "service" company. All my parts are FREE. Very inexpensive to me. My bills to put a part in are 3-100x the part cost. Cost of service is ridiculous in out trade and customers don't realize. I didn't realize for 7 years .... until I started. Knowledge and service compromises 90% of the service ticket value, part we put in say 10% factor in price, although parts are best and covered on warranty since we're licensed and OEM parts. It is very important that in the service ticket customers realize they are purchasing a "service" and not just a "part" the service ticket includes the cost of what it takes to provide the "service" this includes the part cost but it is very very punney lol. We pay warehouse shop fee/light/garbage for customers convenience of stocked parts and same day/next week installations, CRM dispatch software also for customer so we can keep a history of work provided and send on way texts, keep track of equipment, invoices and estimates. , licensing/bonding and insurance also for customer for their safety and covers damages and adds trustworthiness, CSR also for customer so they can reach a kind sympathetic voice or reach a live person as a matter of fact lol!, technician burden rate is around $56 hr to me! ...With workers comp and vehicle liability insurance , vehicle gas and maintenance so we can get to destination, uniforms so we can be presentable and professional and not get criticism for customers, tools to get job done- they often wear out and need to be replaced or get left behind at times, advertising costs such as angies, thumptack, HA, Google, insta, Facebook (around 4k a month for 1 person ) many times customers don't use us because they don't even know we exist! It's important to invest I'm awareness for growth, plus I can add like 10 more things and softwares I've used on a monthly bases. Such as NearbyNow, and NiceJob.etc. It gets ridiculous!
