How big would you make your letters when making a text for an XL shirt with say 5 lines? I don’t want the letters to be too big or to small. Thanks! And is Easy view free to use for sizing of letters?
@transferexpress2 жыл бұрын
Yup! you can size all of the letters in easy view online designer for free. The sizing of the letters really depends on the total size of the graphic you need- I would try some different letter heights by printing the text/graphics out on copy paper and placing them on the garment to see how big they look.

What would be a canvas size for the sleeve of a long sleeve t shirt if im working on photoshop?

You can set your canvas to 4.5" wide by about 18" for a standard long sleeve print. However, the artwork is typically smaller than that maximum sizing, with prints around 2.5" x 11"

Hi, I have a doubt. If i need to print an vertical design what width should i choose. Currently i'm using width of 9.52 for small, 10.02 for Medium and 10.52 for Large. Is it correct. Or is it like for one design width should be same for all sizes. Then for small size the print will be very large compared to L or XL. Please reply.
@transferexpress2 жыл бұрын
If you sized your graphic to 10" wide, it would look great on smalls through XL. With a half of an inch difference in sizing, the majority of people who will buy/wear the shirt will have no idea the graphics are not all the same size. Adjusting the size of the graphic for each t-shirt is uncommon in the t-shirt printing industry- especially when you would essentially triple the setup for each job with this scenario. With transfers you would need 2, possibly even 3 different transfer sheets, which would not combine for the quantity break. screen printing you would need to burn 3 screens, or even with vinyl you're tripling the cutting setup. All that time spent erodes your profit margins.

How many pixels should a graphic be to fit a standard size teeshirt?

Great question, It does depend on the resolution (DPI) of your artwork. We typically aim somewhere around 11" for a standard front print. Circles or Squares we'll size down to 9-10" At 300 DPI, a 3300 x 3300 pixel image is 11 x 11".

It depends on how specific your needs are on color. 90% of the time it prints as you intended it, just be mindful that very bright, vibrant colors will only look that way on screen and will look a little more dull when printed (although still saturated) with digital printing like Direct To Film.
