I finally learned these today after 13 years of off and on skating! :D I'll tell you what I finally figured out after doing them wrong and never landing them for so many years. First foot placement is your front foot about an inch below the bolts with your toes hanging off and the ball of your big toe right on the rail. I like to keep that foot straight as well. I tried turning it in towards my back foot but it just wasn't working. Next your back foot needs to be curved with your toes pointing towards the tail with the ball of your big toe in the pocket and your heel hanging off. Now it's all in the setup. You get rolling and first I wind my shoulders backside then I bend my knees and get ready to pop. Now as you pop you need to unwind your shoulders frontside at the same time good and fast so that by the time you finish your pop you're already turned almost 90 degrees. Now also at the same time as your doing all of this you need to scoop and pop good and hard and make sure you suck your feet up and commit. If you keep chicken footing you'll never land it. Now here's the issue I have always had. I could spin it 360 front side no problem that's all in the back foot placement and pop/scoop. I could turn with the board. But I would always land way ahead of the board with my front foot (which after the spin is my back foot) in the center or even the front bolts and my back foot (again now after spin is my front foot) about 12 inches past the nose on the ground. What finally fixed this was when your popping your trick all the while winding your shoulders and scooping hard when you take off you need to be leaning into the trick so that the board stays ahead of you and under your feet. So as you pop you lean back and to the side just enough to send it in front of you and from that point it's all just a matter of committing and sucking up your feet straightening out from the lean and landing when it's full. By the way you don't need to know fs 360 pops at all cause I can't do em. I'm sure it would help knowing the scoop but it's not necessary. Just get your front pops and 180s down like he said. So if you can combine all those elements at the moment of the pop and commit with enough tries and determination you'll walk away having landed your first front big!! Cheers now get out there and shred!!

Tip! If u are stuck on the landing on the Fs Big Spin, try to just do a FS Shuv it and try landing on the front wheels and then pivot it 180 degrees FS. It will help you get the hang of it

If you're goofy, you rotate clockwise for a frontside 180, and counterclockwise for a backside 180. That's also true for nollie and fakie, but the opposite for switch stance (backside would be clockwise). For grinds, if you are facing the rail/ledge before you ollie, it's frontside; if your back is to the rail/ledge before the pop, it's backside.

for goofy stance. fs is when turn to the right. and bs is to your left. but when grinding or sliding. fs is when the rail/ledge in front of you and bs is when your back facing the rail/ledge.

nevermind man I got that wrong. With a bigspin, just do a 360 popshuv it and spin with the board but only for a 180. you dont really put two tricks together, you more-so just do a 360 shuv and a spin. if you spin the opposite way of the board, you just did a sex change variant
