Your videos always are so easy to follow. How wonderful to travel so freely across Canada. You will no doubt find the west cost interesting and full of art projects to create.

Great! That photo on the thumbnail was from a lake in the Gatineau (Quebec) area.

this is why I like to use ink when painting outside, you can get so much detail in 🥰

true! I spent 5 to 30 minutes on the various sketches shown this video. I can only imagine how much more detailed these would be for a full-size project. I look forward to practicing some more. Glad you enjoy outside sketching as well.

That's awesome, Chloe! It would be amazing if you could do some tutorials on how to draw trees, and specially grass in landscapes. Or how to simplify scenes. I really like plain air sketching, but landscapes are so full of tiny little details and textures that I get overwhelmed and my drawings are not very nice. The general texture of the grass on the ground is what really gives me the hardest time.

I struggle with those same issues, and aim to share more process tips on how to "see" trees/grass in landscapes. I made a video on this topic last year I'd like to build on in the future: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5jZmndupdarl5Isi=ofglcZ9C0pqRkntQ

I particularly like flowers. The painter uses extremely delicate techniques to depict every petal and leaf vividly. The lightness and softness of petals, as well as the vibrant vitality of leaves, are perfectly portrayed in his pen. What is even more commendable is that he was able to maintain overall harmony and unity in such delicate depictions, making the entire work full of the beauty of details.❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

Right?! I left a few links in the description for some camping essentials (awning, yeti cooler, table). And maybe your comment is foreshadowing more truck-camping goodness in the future 😉
