what product are you using? did you sand the walls before coating?

Gib trade finish multi, yip sanded, rescrewed, retaped all joints and internal corners as had no tape .

and you don't have an issue with glue residue and wallpaper bits? the sander should knock them off. Have you ever used 2 coats of quickset and then a top coat of finny?@@bradmckinnonplastering
