How to Skip Chalice Dungeons and Make Builds Fast (Bloodborne Guide)

Believe it or not but the Chalice Shortcut has gotten even shorter. Once you have connected with a player's glyph, you will have access to that glyph while you're offline (and after your PS+ sub expires) provided you don't delete the chalice. _I don't understand a lot of this jargon, is there a simpler guide to chalice dungeons?_ I'm glad you asked. I'm in the process of making a Chalice Dungeon 101 video and I will explain, as simply as I can, what the purpose of the chalices are and how they could actually hold a lot of appeal for some of you out there. Reddit is sjw garbage anyways. You still need to kill depth 4-5 bosses, and farm depth 5 bosses with your hp halved in the frc's to get what you want. Hardly any cheating going on there. Its not like you are saveediting or anything.

Usually you have to beat ebrietas (normal game) to get the great isz chalice. Then you have to offer pearl slug 3, arcane haze (25!), ritual blood 9 and 11'500 echos to open that chalice. Instead of that type zwmn9yzn and you open the great isz chalice without offerings or beating ebrietas in normal game. just watch his spreadsheet. there are many glyphs you can do by beating pthumeruh boss 1 and 2. after that you can already farm for glyphs that powers you up. My saw cleaver+7 does 535 dmg already. The point is.... you need that if you want plat the game or pvp. But pvp is pretty dead. If you don't want platinum (queen) then no need to touch the chalices. Most ppl do that for fast 200 bl builds or even 300.... but that is another story.

Why else are there private servers to make pvp in demon's souls still possible?? After 11 years of its release?? But you need an asian copy and some contacts. I'm lucky I have both. And on weekends we still fight like crazy. demon's only. dark souls is pretty dead either. sry for my limited english ^^ Last but not least - I love Bloodborne. The false depth dungeons have been out for about a year now, and I've fully explore all the layers of all the dungeons. There's a Blood Rock on layer 3 of jgn2kkw (have to go through a Maneater Boar and Beast-Possessed Soul) and of p2tbyrh2 (have to go through a Maneater Boar and Undead Giant). Not to mention the first room of the p2tbyrh2 labyrinth I've found to be the best for leveling up fast to meta or higher, and I went in there with just a +6 weapon and like... +5% gems and no armor, so it's doable. Granted that was my second character and I was used to running the dungeons (fully clearing them out) on my previous one... but just doing more damage. What I *didn't* know was that there were enemies worth farming for anything higher than +14% gems in those dungeons. Granted I already had 3 perfect cursed droplet gems for every one of my weapons from the Winter Lanterns. From layer 3 of dtx7qxbq there is a guaranteed cursed radial gem with +22.5% physical Atk and an increase stamina cost. If someone's doing a fire build, there's a +20.3% waning fire gem from layer 2 of dgt23fwp. I have a video showing where to find the Blood Rock of p2tbyrh2. If Blood Stone Chunks can be farmed from any of the accessible chalice bosses, it could be possible to have a +10 weapon with good gems by Vicar Amelia. Also if someone can't brave the false depth chalices, they can farm the Watcher guarding the boss lever on layer 2 of Lower Pthumeru for up to +20.6% cursed gems, though getting to it would take a bit longer, but you're not forced to do the Defiled Chalice for them. These are usually radial, and it *can* drop bolt, fire, and arcane gems of the same value. I believe the adept gems go up to +24.5%.

That's an interesting question, because I left another comment with a link to my fight with the Ebrietas from p2tbyrh2. It wasn't just my first time fighting Ebrietas from that dungeon, but my first time fighting Ebrietas in the game period. No Izs Root Chalice dropped. I haven't gotten a single chalice from them. I only have the chalices you get for doing Pthumeru, Central Pthumeru, Lower Pthumeru, Hintertomb, and Lower Hintertomb. These are the dungeons I've fully explored, and what drops I've found/bosses I've fought on each layer (bosses in parentheses, layers separated by a comma, and any drops that were just Great One's Wisdom (meaning I already had the loot) are "???"). *nzzn259g* - Uncanny Burial Blade (Beast-Possessed Soul), Dissipating Lake (Loran SIlver Beast - Crawling), Clear Deep Sea (Pthumerian Elder) *5jne4scm* - Logarius' Uncanny Wheel (Keeper of the Old Lords), Uncanny Chikage (Maneater Boar), ??? (Amygdala) *9nheuvvz* - Lost Chikage (Keeper of the Old Lords), ??? (Watchdog of the Old Lords), Red Jelly (Headless Bloodletting Beast) *dgt23fwp* Anticlockwise Metamorphosis (Loran Silverbeast), Waning +20.3% Fire Damp Blood Gem (Beast-Possessed Soul), Fading Lake (Loran Darkbeast) *jgn2jkkw* - Clockwise Metamorphosis & Oedon Writhe (Maneater Boar), Ring of Betrothal (Beast-Possessed Soul), Blood Rock (Bloodletting Beast) *agh38eit* - Clawmark (Blood-Starved Beast), Red Jelly (Loran Silverbeast - Crawling), ??? I wasn't keeping a checklist while running the dungeon, but was more by memory after doing 2 or 3, so the Lake runes and gems might've gotten mixed up. I decided to go with what the wiki said, but in case it's wrong, this is where I have it written I found them: Fading Lake - Layer 2 of *nzzn259g* Dissipating Lake - Layer 2 of *xc284ugx* And I don't remember getting that Triangle Odd Arcane gem from *p2tbyrh2* , but I DO have that gem, so it could've come from there. Otherwise, the rest is what I had written down. The Blood Rock from *p2tbyrh2* is on video, as is the Eye rune, and the Ring of Betrothal, and I pretty much recorded every fight I did with the layer 3 bosses, showing their drops, and a few of the other layer bosses. No chalices were dropped from any of the dungeon glyphs I listed. There were some rare materials from coffins and chests. I do remember some Yellow Vertebrae, but I just didn't list them all. So you will find more than what I listed. These are just all the weapons, runes, and gems I remembered... and some materials. Also, aside from the Clawmark which is tier 2, the rest are tier 3. I believe even the Lake ones are their strongest.

The Root chalices do not drop in every false depth where you can fight these bosses. You need to kill them in specific glyphs. These are 3aqbyx95 for Ihyll Root, zqxwj9g4 for Lower Loran Root, and zwmn9yzn for Isz Root, as the video says.

@@zytha2890 If its around the 120-150 Level meta, 50 Vitality and the best clockwise rune you have (+% HP). Otherwise, for anything less...a lot. HP is a vastly underrated stat for many first getting into PvP. I'd say if you're going to outfit your PvP weapons with the best cursed blood gems you can get from depth 5 chalice dungeons, you may as well boost your vitality as much as possible after reaching each of your damage stat soft caps. For PvP under level 80, getting 25 in your main damage stat (strength, skill, bloodtinge, arcane) is good enough and you can then focus on farming your gems and boosting your vitality. The only real difference beyond that is if you are running an arcane build and need to hit certain thresholds to use your desired hunter tools. tl;dr, get as much HP as you can in Bloodborne via stats and runes. In PvP, you can always farm better gems to boost your damage once you hit your damage stat soft cap(s) (25 and 50).

One thing i always kinda hated was how they forced you to play through the chalice's, this doesnt seem half bad for those of us who, have no problem with the difficulty of the higher tier dungeons, but just find it an absolute snooze fest to slogg through them all, the chalice dungeons seem awesome your first couple playthroughs, but by your 25th your really hating the idea. Least for me.

I was so confused why a pthumeru layer 1 chalice showed up as a loran chalice and assumed I just didn't understand how the search worked. This game can get tough Dungeons 4-5, so this is a Great Guide for those travelers. I am not so good, skillwise, made it to Level 4 Dungeons on first playthrough at launch, I do play offline and I stopped playing when there just one or two Blood Rocks available. That Pissed me off. Put game aside until very recently. Downloaded DLC upgraded ALL good weapons to +10 and I am revisiting, Due to Offline Play I cannot take advantage but thanks for a Well Made Video!!! For early triangles, use False-Depth Glyph 258eatgn and farm the watcher in the bonus room before second lantern. Climb the ladder, drop down into the square room, then go into the circular room and run to the left. He's at the top of a staircase in front of a sarcophagus. His drop rate is abysmal but he gives up to 25.3% Tempering.

before i lost my PS4 ~6 years ago, the thing i fantasized about most was taking the parasite to the next level and tricking it out with all the best gems possible. i'd still think about it on and off whenever i yearned for this game. last month, my buddy gave me his old PS4, and with the help of this vid, i took the plunge. and less than three hours of savescumming later, i had the three best possible gems (short of off-shape) with the highest values possible on both positive effects, with my preferred negative effect. i have never felt so blessed by RNGeezus and somehow i feel indebted to you too because this shit is so convoluted to someone with only a fragmented memory of it. thank you

I know this is an old comment, but for anyone wondering: The dungeons contents/loot can not be changed with Save Editor. Your PS4 wouldn't be able to recognize a truly "hacked" dungeon someone with a jailbroken PS4 might make.

Paytopia you cant be invaded until you're level 30, so I do bl43. Let's you invade the lowest level possible and all the way up to around bl70ish

I actually love the Chalice dungeons... which is weird because I get really sick of dungeon diving shit like Diablo games, but I guess the soulsborne combat system combined with it is what makes it fun for me. That said, still happy about you guys putting these shortcuts out there. I've been grinding through every dungeon which is fun, but I do want to actually play the rest of the game sooner rather than later. ty!

Well that's useless to me and many others..... This is what I hate about bloodborne. They tied the glyphs for chalices to playing online as well... meaning me and many others who don't give a crap about MP or don't want PS Plus can't even farm easy... even legit farming.

True, there is no question about how you are basically forced into buying ps plus if you want to play this game. After I beat it the first time , I used my free trial of ps plus . You would not believe how simple this game is once you can summon other players. Even if they have no experience what so ever , they still provide a distraction for bosses. I died probably 20 times or more to the shadows during my first playthrough, but once you can summon , I beat them first try. My summon just ran around in a big circle while I attacked from behind. I could have saved myself soooooooo much frustration , if I played Mp on my first play through. It takes it from a 8/ 10 on difficulty to a 3/10 just having some one else there . If your summon is any good at all it makes difficulty a 1/10.

@@JusticeforLiberty you died like 20 times to the "boss" in the spooky forest? The 3 Shadows? Wow, I killed them in one try... then again i've encountered a boss fight like that before. I don't know if it was dark souls 3 (which i played before this) or something else in the past but as SOON as I went in the arena and the 3 shadows loaded, I knew. Hit one at a time, keep moving, dodging, don't be greedy... dont' hit the one your'e concentrating on until there's an opening that the other two can't get to you. And watch them for a bit before you even attack, cause when you take one down, the other 2 get stronger, and the last one left gets worse. Kill the easy ones first. Then again I always spend time leveling A LOT at points in games like this, so I'm usually over leveled all the time lol. They went down kinda fast too... I was only talking about Chalice farming... the good stuff is in root chalices (random dungeons), but the loot's random too... unless you use an already known root chalice via it's glyph code... which i can't do.
