I am so happy about this hairstyle. I know it's nothing super original, but I had to throw it into the 30 days because 1- I've never done a tutorial on it and 2- it's one of those hairstyles I wear over and over and over again. This hairstyle deserves the attention haha! I love this style because it's fast, it gets your hair out of your face and it still looks so elegant with all those pretty, loose curls! So whether you're in a hurry to get to school or work on time, need a cute style as mom or need a fancy style to wear on a hot date or to a dance, this one fits the bill. I hope you love the tutorial!!

I came from CGH and I'm loving your styles. I agree with the pancaking. I have medium thickness hair but my hair strands are super fine and feel that pan caking adds volume and is more age appropriate for us older girls lol!

Hi there! Loving your tutorials. Would you mind explaining what you do to your hair before you braid? It already looks curled and textured and I think that's why some of my fancier braids aren't working as well. I don't have as much dyed hair any more (when it was dyed, the hair had more "grab" to it)... but I never know if I should go through the effort of curling it before I start... thoughts? thanks!

Loved it!! Maybe you should put your camera on manual focus so it doesn't refocus so often :) that might help. I just did your five strand braid and it worked!! You're amazing!

I've totally tried and it ends up still being fuzzy. The problem is I can't get it to manually focus without a body helping me. It's soooo frustrating!! I'm learning small tricks here and there though so hopefully I can figure it out soon. I'd rather just be chatting with you. I feel confined to voice overs because the auto focus makes this ugly loud noise! Wish me luck figuring it out haha!

If you're filming with a canon you can switch the focus from automatic to manual, so it will stop changing all the time :) Loved the tutorial!

I know, the problem is I can't get it to focus where I want on manual without something for it to focus on. I just need to buckle down and figure it out. Then I wouldn't have to do the voiceovers!
