Hello everyone; welcome back!!! Today I’ll be sharing with you guys how I soften my new growth when stretching relaxers.
I typically go about 12 weeks between relaxers but have gone even more that once upon a time & it was a disaster; I didn’t know what to do to soften my new growth, until I discovered this routine I’m sharing with you guys today.
Here are some other things you can do to soften your new growth
1. Do Deep conditioning
2. Use your daily leave in conditioner ( never leave the hair dry & focus it more on the demarcation line between new growth & straight hair.
3. Put the hair in a protective style. Less manipulation = less tangle = less breakage.
Hang in there girl, I hope this helps 🤞
Let me know what tips are helping you at this time. Xoxo 😘

That's kinda the reason why I rather learn to do things to my hair myself.. most salons just want to get the job done and collect the money. Nothing to do with the well being of the person or their hair.

I stretch relaxers for the most up to 3 months not passed that and NOONE NOT NOONE touches my head! I been doing my own hair for now over 36 years and don't let noone touch it!! I will be ready to kick someone's face in if they dare start pulling and ripping my hair out! A stylist burned my scalp by putting in an relaxer then she left to talk on the damn phone and didn't return for over 30 mins. I was left with bloody bald spots, hair fall wasn't the word for it!! When it started healing, I would scream to put water on it. The scabbing wasn't no joke couldn't wash hair! Since then never ever again!! I do my own and have waist length which I started in 2015 with back of shoulder length and then in 2019 hit waist length.

Do you do this everyday when stretching? If not, how often? Do you wash every week?
@NaomiEsegine
@NaomiEsegine 3 жыл бұрын
Hello rose. I do it every time I feel the hair is dry & it needs moisture. How often? Whenever I decided to change the style, I mostly just rock the my hair in center parts so it’s easy for me. I part the hair in sections just to make things easy for me to detangle. I don’t wash weekly. Two weeks I’d say.

@NaomiEsegine
@NaomiEsegine Жыл бұрын
I’m not sure why the back is not growing, most times I think it’s because we don’t exactly see the back of our hair , we tend to neglect it a lil bit, when applying products to hair, make conscious effort to treat the back of your hair with extra care. I usually work in sections when doing anything to my hair, so that no part of my is lacking, moisture, hydration, oils etc.
