Great tips. The enemy funneling also works if you get in trouble during the Maelstrom. If you run upstairs, they tend not to come at you all at once, which gives you time to chew through high health mobs (like the Shuggai Huntress).

I used a Layshrine the same way my first time hunting mobs from the maelstrom. Let em spawn and kite them inside for that bottle neck.

The Archers have a sett of distance rules to follow, if it has a line of sight to you, you can be out of range for arrows, then it will follow you, just do not go too far away, practice, it will run back once it's out of sight or aggro range, just get them one and one like that, when its where you won't get agro from the others, you run up to it and kill/knock out, haven't tried this on siptha, but i had some purges outside the green wall where i can't reach them, this i do to get them out from there. these numbers are in the dev kit if you want to look them up

do the thralls you down despawn after a while in the leyshrine surges? im soloing siptah and have been grinding eldarium but i want to yield results for my work and not walk away with just one thrall albeit a good thrall and some good loot perhaps. also thanks for the video. im a new subscriber and new to conan really but so far the game is really fun and the community has proven friendly and useful!

Maybe I'm wrong but it's rather impossible to get higher tier thralls (crafters) from tier 1 surge. Is it even worth summoning? I can just run around and do the wild surges. Can you solo tier 4 surge to get named crafters? Or maybe they do spawn in lower tier surges as well? This is what I would like to know as a solo player. I need named thralls mostly to craft flawless items. Would also make some use of named fighter :)

No you can't get T4's from T1 Surge now. But I think it's subject to change somehow.

Does solo means single player or with out a thrall. Anyway if building is allowed close by, maybe some traps could work. But I won't find out until the new map arrives to Xbox One by that time there will probably be some changes.

it could mean all alone or with a thrall. Basically no help from other players and in this case no thrall help either. ;)

Please use the shield in your hotbar when fighting... Also the starmetal axe is a pretty hefty "requirement" .

Hm, there's that dislike again for no apparent reason. You think maybe it's Firespark? (Just kidding Firespark 😉). Good info Wak. I've been thinking the Better Thralls mod which allows you to have more than one Thrall follower would be a good solution for single players, but this is a way less complex solution, excellent research. 👍
