Oh my god the SORTING!! For the first Alien movie lol sooo long..."considerable amount of time" had to find the sos card that was mixed with the 400....game is super fun tho! So much fun

I love this video, its very good and is well made, your delivery is very effective - thanks! Forgive me if i am wrong here but I think you may have forgotten to add two drone cards per Avatar to each of the objective decks at the start. Apologies if i'm wrong, its just rather important :)

Another thanks is due - after watching i realised i had been playing the "draw a card" (e.g. on the medic card) wrong. I had been drawing from barracks and adding to discard pile instead of drawing from my deck to my hand. Games should be a whole lot easier now thanks to you!

Thanks for the video. Helped me with my first run through. I died within a handful of turns, though, as a egg came out and then turned into a facehugger and I had no cards to kill it, so it became a chestburster. The next card I revealed the same cycle occurred to the other character. 😐

I know you played this solo, but this game is fantastic with multiple people... It can be extremely brutal though, but its great fun.. My friends and I have made it all the way to the 4th movie/scenario, but we've yet to beat it, because the first hazard eliminates the SGTs for coordinates and its extremely hard to catch up late game if you get overrun because of the flight mechanic.

Good job! Nice and clear instruction. Would this be a good game if I never owned a deck builder before. I played Legendary Marvel once and liked the concept. Looking for a good solo deck builder.

If you’ve tried and liked Marvel, then Alien is a good bet. This was one of my first solo deck builders and I am still enjoying it years later. :)

@@BeyondSolitaire I bought everything and just got it yesterday. Started sorting the box...It is not as intuitive as I would of thought. I think I'll like the game as I really enjoyed the Legendary Marvel game a friend of mine has. Thanks again for all that you do.

Great video! One question... Is it possible to play it solo "one handed"? I saw you played with two characters. Is that mandatory for solo? Or maybe playing one-handed it's really difficult? Thanks!

I think you CAN, but I never do. It's important to have two characters because 1) this game is brutal and 2) you want to be able to get the most you can out of coordination cards.
