Thank you so much for this video. I was frustrated that even purchasing extra original cable for Rs. 550 of my samsung mobile, it was not connecting in my brand new Altroz. So as per your instructions I cleared cache and uninstalled updates from Android Auto and reinstalled it. Also reset the factory setting from Altroz system setup. It is working without any fail. It is working for Apple carplay for another iphone as well.

As soon as I connect the phone with cable, fluctuating windows appear and disappear on the car screen and Device no response comes there.. I tried with other phones that are working, only my phone is showing this issue.. Is it because I have dual apps? Please reply

Yes it's Bluetooth connection that tells the head unit it's connected.So Bluetooth connection is must.

It's a hybrid connection (wired and wireless). In my case, I have disabled wireless Android Auto due to frequent disconnection issues and am now connecting via wired, which connects flawlessly. I will try your method and check if disconnections happen or not.

Gets disconnected when I make or take a call. Removing and then reinserting the cable connection restores the connection. This happens with a particular phone only. So the issue lies in that phone only. Please suggest help. Thanking you.

Check your Android Auto app on your phone . Try to uninstall the updates and reinstall . Then try again to see if it solves. Actually I feel the connection between your head unit and phone is lost when there is a call.

You will need wifi only when you need to download or watch videos of dashcam. Rest of the time disable your Wi-Fi and switch to mobile data and connect Android Auto.

Check that your car's battery has good health. Sometimes when the battery is about to die, the car does this kind of stuff. If you're sure that is not the battery, or you replace it and the problem persists, check the Voltage and Amperage provided by the car's USB port when not in use, and when you honk. If the voltage decreases when you honk, your problem is a honk too big for the car's electrical system, a wiring problem or a recent change wich is causing the car to use more energy than the total amount the alternator is able to provide (lights, aftermarket accesories, audio setup, etc.).

Have you tried with any other phone. If the other phone connects check S22 USB settings and change it to USB debugging mode and try. You may watch my other Android auto connection videos of it helps.
