Sometimes "middle clock" (on one side) - can not set to to the same position as "top clock". (Ohter side of clock can be solved completely) With this issue... the 5x5 clock is not solvable. Now, I found one reason for this issue: Sometimes, while solving the clock - the pin (for the middle clock) is not fully engaged, while turning the weels. Than it could happend, if you engage the pin... that the middle clock is moving (up to 4 - 6 clockturns...) on its own. (without aktiv turning the outer weels by hand). When this happens - the middle clock is out of phase - and the whole 5x5 clock is not solvable. This happens spontaniously. Sometimes - without being noticed / out of sight - on the backside.... The only solution I know, to solve this issue - is to disassemble the frontside of the clock, and correct (one side) of the middle clock "manually" (e.g. not turnung the middle clock with both sides). PS. For easy recognition of the correct position - solve the "unsolvable clock" first - so that all Clocks are solved at 12 o'clock.... exept the "one" middle clock, wich is still showing the wrong "time". (4 o'clock etc.). > Than you can just turn the "wrong side of the middle clock" - also on the 12 o'clock position.... so that all clocks are solve. In this "complete solve state" - assemble the front side again... and from now on - the 5x5 clock is solvable again. ...till the next time - one middle clock is slipping and turning "on its own".

it doesn't make sense the clocks on the two opposite sides are in different places

I can’t solve the biggest clock because the middle clock and the top clock on both sides are no in the same direction.Is there anyway to solve this?
@infrabread2 жыл бұрын
That's impossible. It's a single piece with a sticker on both sides. There are other videos showing how to take a clock apart, which should help.
@Engi6622 жыл бұрын
@@infrabread it’s not impossible, it’s because when I mix it up I turn the top clock while the pin is down sometimes.

@@Engi662I’m having the same issue. I think it could be some internal issue but I’m not sure. Have you found a solution?

I think that u may try to finish it on only 1 side instead of flipping it to align the other side, it could be caused some kind of parity, I don't know
