I will do the preparation. Because in preparing, I'll be able to adjust my voice, intonation, find the suitable words, watch my attitude or myself in the mirror, and correct my pace in a voice recorder. All these things are necessary to boost my confidence.

I so want you to see this comment! I'm an English Literature student, we read books, watch documentaries, in short everything that helps improve one's English speaking skills.But I've started noticing something. Whenever I'm communicating with other people, my brain stops putting words into sentences, things that could have been said in one or two lines, it takes me a whole paragraph to explain them. I can watch films without subtitles, I'm good at vocabulary too but this thing this fear just won't go away! Please help 😭😭

The intonation is absolutely important in my mother tongue. Actually, either a statement and a question both are written the same way, the difference lays in punctuation "!/?". In other words, the spoken language is all about intonation: rising-rising for questions; rising-falling for statements. Furthermore, the word order is pretty flexible in order to change the emphasis of the sentence, when the intonation get even stronger. That said, I'm gonna practice my English intonation skills.

My problems, I believe, are intonation, the “z” sound (I don’t know the rules of when to use it with a word that is spelled with an s, like “was” and when to elongate a vowel, like I just noticed on one of your videos, for example”feel”. My biggest problem is speaking fast. Even in my native language, when I get nervous in a presentation, or talking to too many people, I get anxious and start speaking too fast. So in English, I speak too fast and make even more mistakes for that reason. I need to control myself, but it's sometimes really hard. Thank you for the video, you have the best tips! :)
