English is my first language, but ever since I lived in Korea since 6th grade my accent and vocabulary skills have decreased quickly! I thought I was going to forget English completely until I found this channel, and it has been helping me A LOT. Thank you so much!

Key points discussed: Tension and Nervousness: Tension in your body and nervousness can affect your voice. This can be due to the stress of communicating in a second language, leading to a stifled or weak voice. Voice Resonance: The voice resonates in different places in our body. Some languages resonate the voice mostly in the nose and head, some in the throat and chest. For English, the ideal voice placement is between your chest voice and your head voice. Cultural Influence: Cultural norms can influence how we use our voices. In some cultures, speaking at a higher volume may be considered rude or inappropriate. However, English is a vocally expressive language; to be a powerful communicator, you must use your voice fully. Voice Exercises: There are several exercises to help free up your voice and discover new placements, expressions, and power. These include facial warm-ups, exploring the versatility of your voice, breathing exercises, and practicing powerful speeches. Power Speech: Choose a powerful monologue from a TV show or movie, memorize it, and practice it regularly. This exercise can help you feel more confident and powerful in English. Importance of Practice: The importance of regular practice and exploration of your voice to improve your English speaking skills.

Just found your channel. I am really impressed by your methods and knowledge, no " dry" material that most of the other teachers use. It really helps me to improve my language skills. I live abroad and try not to forget my mother tongue. Just watched your video about expanding vocabulary. In my opinion trying to do that in your native tongue is even more exciting. Knowing the language, accents and knowing HOW to talk in general helps a lot in communicating with other people. Finally , I understand why some days my languages skills are better than others: its tension and anxiety. Thank you.

Shalom Miss Hadar :) Underrated detailed lesson but you know what is really underrated? It's that wavy shade of blue on your nails. I can't help it but it keeps catching my attention as it's my fav color. It looks hella smooth ain't that the truth? reminds me of the gorgeous blue city in my country too. The sad part though barely any girls I know shamelessly not polish their nails blue that often on which is kinda lame. Can you believe that 😂? How could u not love blue or purple for that matter they're both aesthetically eye comforting appealing colors. I guess everyone's obsessed with colors they like the most after all 🌊🤷🏽♂️ don't you think?
