Same. I'm also a guitar player but I only watch theese for fun. I know a little drumming, and the only time I use drums is at stores, or use my brothers kit. I was expecting their budget to be 1500. I guess I was wrong.

Ah yeaaaaa. Dont forget. Recording the snare is almost everything. Getting that engineered sound MP’s techs have developed with him over the years is rock perfection! So hard to simulate even if you’re trying to break the bank. But yea. No Tama kit? Now you have to do a break the bank version for fun lol.

the bliss sounds great, but the Natal doesn't quite convince me. For the cymbals I'd have chosen the XSR from Sabian, they are killer and probably the closest to the AAX.

I can't say for sure because it was a long time ago, but I do seem to remember, either on a commentary track or some other interview thing, someone talking about John having plexi shields put around his stack to spare it from Mike's flying spittle. I also remember someone mentioning that they called him "the camel" because of his penchant for spitting on stage.

Hey Osman! Thanks for the kind comments. I don't do anything else on KZbin but you can follow me on Instagram @colindrummer! The bass drum pedal is actually attached but we generally use a cloth to preserve the hoop. I also kick outwards quite a bit when I play with my right foot so it can make it go a little bit wonky haha

Nope, Drafonforce never used a double kick pedal instead of 2 single kicks, they trigger their kicks :)
