Nice Video Dude. Just a heads up for you noise gate on your mic. Try NS1 from Waves Audio. It's been a game changer.
@IAMLXGEND4 жыл бұрын
Yea I know about NS1. I have RX8 though. The noise on the mic is because I’m filming on a camera I don’t normally film on. I already have an audio preset for my vocals but it’s for a different camera. New studio, have to figure out the setup and everything still.

should i learn music theory
@IAMLXGEND4 жыл бұрын
To an extent, yes. It doesn’t hurt at all. But to be clear, you don’t need to know all the technical terms and jargon and all that. Music theory is just understanding the sound and how it works in correlation with other sounds. I know music theory by ear. Never went to college for it or studied other than choir in high school. But even then, I didn’t know all the technical stuff. But I knew what sounded good and what didn’t, I knew scales, just didn’t know the names of the scale. Anyone can know theory even if you don’t know it by name. Watch this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6GtqYd-jcx_bLM

E is not in the key of Eb minor. It's more like that intro melody is in Eb phrygian, which has the notes: Eb E Gb Ab Bb B Db. Phrygian is the 3rd mode of the major scale, so if you want to specify a "key" here, B major is more accurate. Could also say it's in G# minor (or Ab minor, same thing). Anyway, not to take away from the legitimacy of what you're doing here, because this is still a great video, but knowing that it's not in Eb minor but actually Eb phrygian means you'll generate completely different chords and melodies than you did here.

Great.

lol, HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING....THEN JUST BROKE OUT AND DIDNT EXPLAIN ALL THE NEW NOTES. LOL
@IAMLXGEND4 жыл бұрын
Because I don’t have to. I’d be repeating the same exact thing I said for all the other stuff. I only explain how to use the app. I’m not gonna explain me playing every single note. This is not a music theory video. This is how to use a plugin.
