I use Forvo already but this is my first time hearing about Youglish. I’m very impressed with it so far and I look forward to using it to learn languages. Even as a native English speaker, I actually think it can be useful for English in certain situations. Many thanks for sharing!

This is exactly what I needed! Can you also make a video about some fun tv shows (not dramas)? For example, I learned so much Korean from Running Man. But I can never seem to find something as natural as that for chinese. Thank you!

I'd recommend watching "Where Are We Going, Dad?/爸爸去哪儿?", there are full subtitled episodes on KZbin. You can learn a lot of useful phrases and I think it's a bit easier to understand since adults tend to simplify their language when speaking to kids

Hi, Grace. I've got something to tell you. I am just meaning to give you a piece of advice without trying to be disrespect to you at all. I don't mean you care a lot about it but I have noticed the number of your subscribers still hasn't gone up much yet since the last time I went to your channel, which is a bit long ago. Now, there's really nothing wrong with that and I think it's cool to do something you enjoy even without much financial reward. So why do I still want to give your my advice instead of just minding my own business. Firstly, you are really a lovely girl with a very good-looking smile and a sweet voice. Who doesn't love a girl like that, right? lol. Secondly, my mother tongue is also mandarin(which may make you wonder why I am talking to you in English. If so, it just because I haven't practice English in so long, lol), so I want to see a good mandarin-teaching channel run well. I know there is a korean-teaching KZbin Channel that's called Korean Unnie which has a bit over one million subscribers currently. No offense to the owner of that Channel, but overall, I really think you are at least somewhere around as good as her in terms of external qualities and the dedication to work. Therefore, I venture to say it may be a good idea for you to watch some of her videos and try to learn something from her or draw some inspiration to help you gain more subscribers. I remember when I came across her channel for the first time, she didn't have that many subscribers though I don't remember the exact number now. Later, I noticed the number of her subcribers was increasing fast. Although I am not really interested in learning Korean, I'd say her videos do have some pulling power. I can't really explain that but you may find the qualities if you go check them out yourself. Again, I don't think you are a lesser youtuber just because you don't have a large number of subscribers yet, and I like you and how you put so much thought into your videos. But I do hope your channel goes better and better. 加油.
