I think that teaching first the articles ( personal and possessive), most common verbs with most used conjugations, nouns and prepositions of place and movement would be very good for a lesson directed for people with their mindsets focused on travelling/tourism.

When spoken in a normal pace, every foreign language is difficult to understand by non speakers. A common clarification strategy when one doesn't know a word is asking: something like: " is this an object? What is it used for? ".

Are all verbs in the infinitive mode in norwegian, preceded by å?

So when a word ends in “eren” is it pronounced “eren” or “aan”? I keep hearing the “er” turn to a sound like other words, but kelneren was pronounced “eren” here… For example I’ve been hearing “the daughter” as “dattan” rather than “datteren” every time. Hjelpe meg er du snill 😢
