Sounded like it was profound but... "Positivity and negativity", though highly subjective, are both the language of the universe; choose your path because the universe is nothing but an interactive and dynamic game. The universe isn't discriminative nor bias; rather, it accepts all that is irregardless of how you deem or classify the energies and situations, which is much like how the subconscious is constantly described by so many ppl. Every program imaginable and every fragment or piece of a puzzle that exist is in the universe. Now that everyone knows that truth...how does one speak with the universe to create a reality that only positivity exist? It's not about religion and what good works you can do to earn salvation, it's only by grace through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ. Read God's Word, preferably start with Gospel of John, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you, give you wisdom and revelation that way you're born again and see your life changed by the Spirit of the Most High. However I do feel that ignoring negative feelings is not the most effective way of dealing with them. I do feel like this might take us down a line of toxic optimism and avoiding anything that might potentially help us grow.

You don't need to ignore them, just don't give them your attention as in energy. You can ponder on them just fine rationally or otherwise as long as you're aware of your inner state. Hope this makes sense. My 2 cents.
