right? Love a place hat overdelivers on my expectations, and lucky for Bristol, my expectations in the UK are always quite low. 😜

Love to visit a good transport museum. I find the history of transport fascinating. Like figuring out the wheel must have been so exciting. Fun Lego! 😊 that museum was creeepy lol great video.

Expect to spend about four hours sat in traffic. There's public transport of course, which might be quicker, but you'll spend an hour waiting for a bus to turn up (and then it won't). Wake the tiger is now being sued by meow wolf for directly copying some of their installations. Something not in this video which I highly recommend for kids that age is We The Curious, which is a kid focused science museum which includes a big area on animation and some of the original sets used in Wallace and Gromit (a Bristol institution!) Bristol also has lots of green open areas where you can spend a morning or longer - The Clifton Downs (near the bridge), Leigh Woods (at the other end of the bridge) and Blaise Castle for example. The biggest upside of Bristol is that it's very patchwork and eclectic. The biggest downside is that it's extraordinarily expensive, food/attractions etc are generally London prices if not more expensive, without the London wages attached (or the London transport system for tourists). Overall it's a good fun city with the problems of most cities (plus a few unique issues)

Ah that's so interesting! Just looked up an article about the Meow Wolf drama. We looked into We The Curious but unfortunately didn't have time for everything we wanted to do. We'll have to add it to our list for next time. And yes-- I couldn't believe the prices, etc. in comparison to London. But I do now understand better why so many people choose to live there. Thanks for watching!

As someone who lives near Bristol, avoid it, it’s a crap hole.
