Very Happy to hear that you went to the Oklahoma City Memorial! When I went, what had the biggest impact on me were the chairs. There is a lot of great places you missed though, such as the National Cowboy Museum, Frontier City, the Bricktown Brewery and much more.... You need to come back, and spend more time here!

I was just to Oklahoma City and I would go back! I stayed at two Harvest Hosts on my visit: OK Cider and Core4 Brewing Company. There are a couple breweries within a couple City blocks as well. It was a mile walk to the Oklahoma City Memorial. Very bike friendly city with lots of bike lanes. Their State Capitol is the only one that has oil rigs on its property! If you like banjos, The National Banjo Museum was pretty interesting. I met up with some friends to experience the Day of the Dead, a Mexican celebration of peoples lives after they have passed on. There were food trucks, vendors, and displays explaining the holiday.

Hi! Oh there were so many things in the downtown OKC area. OKC has a movie studio downtown. (old Cox center) There is Scissortail Park and the new Omni Hotel. Plus the Myriad gardens are just beautiful. If you were here this weekend you would see the Arts Festival next to the Myriad gardens. If you rode the trolley, it would have givenn you the tour. Glad you were here. Good luck on your journey!

Glad you enjoyed OKC. I grew up in Moore/OKC so the Memorial brought back memories and tears to my eyes. It doesn't look like anyone mentioned it in any other comments, but Bricktown was actually named for the streets in that part of town. I remember going to haunted houses in High School that were located in Bricktown as it was the old warehouse district and still had cobblestone roads. I have a High School friend whose dad was a big part of the revitalization of downtown and specifically, Bricktown. We're in NH currently and if you ever make it up to Manchester, NH check out Pipe Dream Brewing, as they have a huge tap list of sours, wits, ales, IPAs and experimental beers that you both would love!

You two are just like us when we go to a new town, find the local breweries and sample the beer. Pickle Juice beer is outside of my comfort zone though I must admit. We recently installed our snap pads and love them, same as you we waited until we got to a concrete surface. Two recommendations if it's not to late. 1. If you are in the area, you should try going to the 1832 Distilling in Concordia, MO they have good liquor and a great story of how they got started. They are also a Harvest Hosts location with room to fit your rig. 2. If you are heading to New England through the area of Albany, New York try booking Schodack Island State Park. We are there now and it is along the Hudson River and has some wonderful campsites. They have 50 Amp electric sites which offer a lot of privacy and space. Pick site 29 or 27 because they are both close enough to the potable water spicket you can reach it with a 50' hose and don't have to haul water in. Safe Travels

Very good video. It’s sad about the Oklahoma City bombing. I was working then and saw it all unfold. The one guy that helped in the bombing his son loves here in Vegas and keeps getting into trouble. I would be crying if I was there seeing all the bombing stuff. It’s sad very sad. So glad you got new snap pads and good to know they are American made. How was the food there in Oklahoma? Travel. See you soon. Thank you fir this video.

The memorial was so neat yet hard to get through emotionally. The food we tried was great. Thanks again for joining us!

Excuse you, we've termed them pot ditches.

@@marionlogan6069 have you seen the giant crack that runs length wise on I-240 west bound ( roughly between Walker and May avenue)? It's more like a trench. How is that stretch of highway Even still open???

@@quanahhurtt1833 I haven't been over there in a while. I am convinced that when they draw up the plans for new streets they strategically add pot holes into the design.

@@marionlogan6069 lmao 😆 I think you May be right, it even takes 4 street workers (state or city) to watch one worker work. I guess the answer to the question of how many workers does it take to fill a pothole is 10. The supervisor and other 4 workers are on their half day break.

How could anyone visit Oklahoma City and not see the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Rodeo Hall of Fame and a must see is the Cowboy Hall of Fame.

Yes, we have heard we missed it. This was just a one night passing through trip and we hope to get back for a longer stay to see it all!

The art place would be right up my alley. I'm with Jason on the beers...I like pickles but not the juice and I'm not a sour person. What Jason had sounds great tho! The memorial is a great reminder of how horrid Americans can be to Americans...tho' I think we've seen a bunch of that this past year too. It's also a reminder of how wonderful Amercans can be to Americans after a tragedy. Your tears are proof that we can feel for people we've never met before. The public art you saw on the boat tour was cool. Looks like you missed the Cowboy Hall of Fame museum. It's a must-see if you visit OKC so a good reason to go back for you guys!

@@GetawayCouple At the flight 93 memorial the passengers call home and said their good byes. Some of the families have given the messages and recordings to the memorial so people can hear them. It's very hard to not have tears
