Welcome to Oklahoma, state #29 in our journey to all 50 states in 2021! For our time in the Sooner State, we spent one day exploring the state’s largest city, Oklahoma City, AKA OKC! While we did do some pretty quintessential Oklahoma things while we were there, like learning more about the area's history and culture at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and trying “Lamb Fries” for the first time at the iconic Cattlemen’s Steakhouse, we also did some not-so-quintessential things like whitewater tubing at the Riversport Adventure Center! All of that to say... Oklahoma City is truly a unique city with much to offer!

Glad you finally made it to my home of Oklahoma, and that you enjoyed OKC. Not really the sort of thing you would put in an upbeat video like this, but next time you come through, visit the OKC National Memorial. It is a powerful experience. The entire Bricktown/river/downtown redevelopment has taken place in the last 20-25 years or so. There was a time when downtown OKC was dead. But it is vital and vibrant and thriving now! All the best for the rest of your travels. Always enjoy your videos.

As an Oklahoma native I approve this message ☺️💖 Also, if you ever decide to come through again....The boat district offers a river cruise down the Oklahoma River. We also have a nice Food truck venue called Blue Garden in Midtown and a nice rooftop hangout called Packard's. Plus you guys missed a complete JEWEL in downtown THE BOMBING MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM. I just stumbled across you guys today and I love your videos! I live 30min south of Wichita, KS in Wellington and so that's the first video I watched. I absolutely love Cowtown and I used to actually dress up as a prairie girl when I was younger and "work" with my Girl Scout troop during the Christmas season...which is the most magical time to be there! They have horse drawn wagon rides through the snow and caroling and Santa even makes an 1800s appearance. It's very cool! I have been to OKC many times but never knew about the Wheeler District! I will have to take my hubby and check it out!

I just got stationed here in OKC (Air Force). It was nice to see this video to get some ideas on what to do here! Love the positive energy :) I recommend checking out Boise when you get to Idaho, it's amazing!

I’m originally from Oklahoma and lived in OKC area for about 14 years, I absolutely love and miss it so much a d you did the city justice, but I do recommend next time go to the Banjo Museum, it’s absolutely incredible and even Steve Martins Banjo is in there!

Glad you enjoyed OKC. We have come a long way in the past 20 years. I live here and have never been white water rafting but after seeing this video we will have to go. Lol oh, and we had a friend visit from out of state, we took him to Cattlemens and we all tried the lamb fries for the first time. Was actually good. Enjoy the rest of your trips and be safe.
