Do your research on brands and RV quality! Specially research the larger company that owns the brand. There is so much EXPENSIVE JUNK out there! It’s often better to buy a product of a smaller company that stands behind quality as opposed to a large manufacturer located in Indiana.

What a beautiful RV! It looks prettier than the new RVs I've seen lately--the nimbly thing they have on you is space--but the reason they are so open and spacey is that they have next to nothing and yours is full of great touches, details, etc. I'm one of those people who would not be able to tell you renovated as opposes to buying new. The black and white decor is stunning! You have great design abilities! Thank you for sharing!

That "or appeared before a judge" is really pathetic. You can wind up in a courtroom as a victim, a witness, a divorcee', as someone wrongfully accused... You shouldn't have to give your whole life's story if you didn't do anything wrong. Are they seriously going to deny people entrance because they've ever appeared before a judge?

Glad you enjoyed the UP. We in Michigan love our state parks. This year and next year a bunch of them have been renovated and have improvements. Hope you come back to see us both in the UP and LP.

When the kids were small, we camp at Straits Park in our large family tent. We must have been at or near the site you recommended. What a beautiful place and the view of the Mackinac Bridge at night was spectacular!!! really enjoyed your video. Thanks for your work putting it together.

Thank you for the wonderful video tour of the UP, as a member of one of the Native American tribes in the UP, i feel it would be informative to tell about the Native American peoples who lived and flourished there thousands of years before they became tourist attractions.

We are staying there now, they directed us also backwards into site, we got lost and didn’t know how to get back correctly. This ended up in an upgraded site where it ended up being the most beautiful site we ever stayed, thanks to staff AJ!

What's really wild is people breaking all of these rules when boondocking... There could be thousand of acres available for camping and they'll still try to camp right on top of you and then proceed to break all of these rules...

Sounds a lot like a Timeshare Scam to me. "Upgrades"..."Maintenance Fees"..."Yearly Membership"...No Thanks. I bought a 7000+ SF Residential/ RV/City lot in an RV based subdivision. It's more than doubled in value in 5 years.

There are several states in US you can pan for gold. Might be a fun way to explore different areas while enjoying your new hobby.

If you like old wooden boats, Cedarville on the eastern UP. and Drummond Island just a bit farther east. Good fishing and biking, and you can take your camper on the ferry to the island.

Gold is formed when two neutron stars collide. It is the only place in the universe where the force and heat are high enough to do so. Same for lead. So look for the gold (like a wedding ring). The atoms in that gold were formed somewhere far away- billions of years ago. This is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night. :)

Isn't that amazing! When going down one of our KZbin rabbit holes, we looked up how gold was formed and were blown away.

Another channel just said you have to be careful where you pan because it's legal to shoot someone if they do it on their claim. Is that true?
@GetawayCouple
@GetawayCouple 2 ай бұрын
I mean, that sounds intense and I highly doubt there's a law that says you can shoot someone for being on your claim. It's called claim jumping and we heard that you can be sued and even face prison time for doing that though!

Loved this video. Watch some YT on "reading a river", this will help you decide where to dig. Just got back from Alaska, did a gold panning trip for tourists. They give you a pan of dirt with gold in it. I polished off mine fast, then went walking the creek while everyone else continued with their original dirt. I did a little digging behind an large rock and was able to get more gold than what was supplied on the trip! You got the bug. Enjoy it while you are up there, then bring your knowledge back to the lower 48.
