You bring up an excellent method of practicing and understanding the timing of the approach with different sets, but in game the four step approach has a very simple flaw - it's slower; the extra step takes more time, which you might not have in game, especially if you're relatively inexperienced (like me) and don't always transition fast enough from the block or the receive. Also, every set is a bit different, so you do need to change speed and rhythm of your steps. That being said, i do think this is a brilliant video, and would definitely sub to the channel.

I have one more question, how do i communicate with my setter on which tempo he plays? Because with your 4 step approach guide, i would need to know beforehand what tempo my setter is planing to do.
