Jules's elf on a shelf is hat on a hat. That's a surprising result, who'd have guessed. Merry Christmas!

One of my coworkers just told me that one of his friends came over for a party and made eggnog. When my friend asked him which whiskey he pulled from the liquor cabinet to make it, his friend responded that he didn’t know what it was called but it was in a round bottle. Yes, his dumb ass friend had grabbed his bottle of Blanton’s.

Where's 's leg lamp!? I actually tried a tequila nog last week as part of my own search for the best option next week at our biggest family Christmas gathering in many years. It was surprisingly good. Similar reaction to CP. Bourbon didn't work well. Olmeca Altos anejo was decent, but didn't say Xmas. Will have to try a cognac blend now!

We made egg nog last weekend with 90 proof spiced rum… so good!

I bought a local eggnog. I use a 16 oz tumbler, add a couple of cubes, 1.5 oz Black Tot rum, 1.5 oz Remy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac 1783 Accord Royal and fill with the nog. Stir and then sprinkle with nutmeg. You can drink that all night.

I'm gonna havve to pick up one of those Soco's. For some reason I've gone without eggnog for the last several holiday seasons. I have a bottle of cognac waiting in the wings.....

Your becoming Mixologists! Happy Holidays. For my eggnog recipe I primarily use Pierre Ferrand Cognac & Cream Sherry w/ a little bit Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Appleton Estate Signature Rum. A little big of St. Eliz Allspice Dram as well to bring christmassy notes

I usually use chairman's reserve spiced for my holiday eggnog which is homemade, but this year, I've got a bottle of H by Hine I'm considering trying with it.

It's kind of cheating, but Benchmark has (in my opinion) a very solid alcoholic eggnog for $9. Doesn't really need more booze, but can always add a little more if desired. Much better than the Evan Williams one.

yup! We actually included that one in our original EggNog Drinkthrough: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4DGoqKVn6ysha8

@CuriosityPublic watching you try and pour out that benchmark made me worry for your health for a minute! And they've definitely rebranded in the last two years 😂

Always love the holiday episodes! I would have liked to see you try it with a rye! I had some eggnog with elijah craig rye and it was really good!

My family like Heaven Hill 7yr bottled in bond as the preferred liquor. I actually think a mix of bourbon, rum and brandy/cognac would be perfect.

Green Label or Gold Label Reserve Johnnie Walker? I could get them for the same price (38€). Merry Christmas!

I'm partial to the Gold, but most in the community would favor the Green.
