It’s so satisfying seeing such beautiful finished yarn from it's very beginning as fleece you unpacked from your trip. Thanks for the spice-top tip. I plied my first 3-ply yesterday, and the spice top would have saved me a lot of untangling when I had to take a break. I'm looking forward to seeing the headband. Thank you! I learn so much from watching your videos… Definitely going to try my hand at blending some of the alpaca I have with wool. I have Romney lamb that I spun a single and plied with a single of angora. I wasn’t ready to try actually blending them together. The finished lace cowl came out gorgeous!

Lovely spin! I’ve had to switch to an e-spinner due to a leg/knee injury and I have to admit that I really miss the feeling of treadling a traditional wheel. On the up side, I’m still able to make yarn 😊

Are you going to dye it? The natural color is beautiful too. I learned a lot from this video, thanks. Nice to see your pretty fall foliage too. Where are you?

Nope. I am using this natural. It has some gold Angelina in it. If I dyed it, the nylon would not take up the dye the same as the alpaca and Rambo and it have a variegated effect, which although beautiful, isn’t great for seeing nice defined cables. I am making a cabled headband so I 4-plyed and left it natural for maximum cable definition. I will dye some of the other raw fiber to blend.
