This wheel has been retired for a year now so no more groaning. My new wheels are: Super Jumbo E-spinner & a Majorcraft Rose 🌹.

You posed a question on wondering why this video was so popular. First, the picture of the spectacular yarn gets me every time I run across it when perusing your channel. Second, the instruction is clear and precise. Third, you include the how you solve the problems that arise. Fourth, the various techniques covered make it really fun to learn new things. Fifth, it is very relaxing to watch you spin!

Thank you 🥰😘😘 I'm going to do a live stream soon when my new wheel gets here so might make up some fiber and spin it for you. I'm planning some scouring videos, carding, rolags and beaded yarns.

Personally, I'm interested in creating art yarn and there aren't many videos on it out there. Also the photos and end result are amazing.

Nice art yarn , i like tp make it to , what kind of thread are you juicing to make the structure.
@josparadiseofcolor2 жыл бұрын
I think I chose a Italian silk and sparkle weavers thread on a cone. About a 2-3ply weight.

Hi Jo, great video!! So clear, it's really good. I was just wondering what yarn you used to ply with?
@josparadiseofcolor2 жыл бұрын

How do you keep from getting too much twist in the thinner parts as it is being pulled in after making a thick part?
@josparadiseofcolor2 жыл бұрын
You need to control the speed you pedal so when you make the thick you want to start pedalling for a couple seconds to gain the twist again then slow down when making another thick. If you find you are getting too much twist loosen your tension ever so slightly and stop pedalling run the fiber tightly through your fingers towards you and this will remove the extra twist.

yes I know she's been oiled since this video but I really need to give her some tender loving care. She's scheduled for a complete make over soon.
