I am looking for something like say if I pin youtube in chrome in one panel and I hit full screen, I want it to stick within the frame that I defined and not blow out and use the entire monitor space. This is a "snap" tool not virtual desktop to be clear. You cannot go full screen on a browser in any of these windows.

How does this work with photoshop or any program that uses multiple tiny windows? They'd probably still be flying all around the screen while only the main windows is resized right? Is there a way to make windows think one monitor is two physical monitors? Like I could start an application in full screen mode and it would only apply the full screen to a set size?

I am also looking for something like this. The built-in Windows splitting just resizes program windows so two fit next to each other. What I want is to split my big physical screen into two smaller virtual screens, so I can have two fullscreen applications next to each other.

@@LoganSumrell I ended up getting the Samsung NEO Odysee 49” curved monitor. I hook up my ASUS ROG laptop and a Dell T5810 high performance workstation to it at the same time and choose the Picture-in-Picture mode and it gives each computer half of the screen each. Then when I put them both in full-screen mode it’s perfectly seamless and you can’t tell it’s two computers. Then I use a very good Logi Keyboard and mouse with Flow settings so they can go from one computer to the other without changing anything. Works great for studying or whatever else you need good performance and multiple things going on.

If your monitor is able to display split screen from two sources, you can connect the monitor twice to your computer, like two hdmi connections. Under display settings, align the screens to be vertical to each other

dude if you make this video which i haven't seen yet and i can run an app in one area and the instruction from the internet without it crunching stuf into the side of the screen then you won't have to answer anyone. you just be the one that did it right. every to mod a video and have to read instruction while finding the place to put it. i once hit a button and had to wipe my hard drive to get my computer to work again. it took 7 hours. i myself am trying to use game maker and read the tutorials at the same time and already had to remove and reload it. it froze and not a single tutorial worked anyway say hi to larry or jawed for me. they will know.
