Rina is a national treasure, please pay attention to her advice. This is the kind of advice I listened to when I moved to America, it was from two financial gurus, Suze Orman and Dave Ransey. It helped me build a healthy portfolio, get out of debt and invest in various things. The earlier you start the better, I started putting away very little and its really grown.

Regulations are not strong in Kenya so firms like Faida are not safe either - remember banks like chase just went under because directors took depositors money. If you must invest you are better off going to a bigger institutions with more to lose, KCB, EQUITY etc.

Very helpful, I joined a referral online business GIF OMG I lost more than 50k, without buying their fake packages you're bound to doom, by inviting people if you invite 5 but others show off 15 recruited people, you feel less of a human, again every month you have to renew your account 5k. Another one was to pay for a scholarship of 175k, and my dream country was the UK. OMG, I lost my money just like that.

I remember when I Was in one of their meetings when I was fresh out of campus, thank God I am very observant. Meanwhile as you fear pyramid scheme true it's very deadly don't try it, but she missed to say about network marketing which also operates by recruiting people and building a team but each works for themselves to earn an extra income. In this Case you have products to move from the company through the people you have recruited, but each is directly registered with the company as supplier and not the person who brought you in. While pyramids there's no products involved those you recruit are registered under those who brought them in.
