After 70 hours on duty, a driver has to rest for consequent 34 hours. After that, they have another 70 hours available to work. That rest is called a "reset" because they are reseting the work clock.

at the end of the day, no. the rare competent double broker (1/100) will have a US cell# and will work very hard to make end meets but rule of thumb, stay away

As a dispatcher, what is your responsibility, or what are you expected to do in these scenarios: 1. If your carrier had an accident 2. If your carrier's truck breaks down.

I you are an independent dispatcher, you can help the O/O find a service (it would be a nice thing do) and you should let the broker know and keep them posted about possible delays. In case of an accident ask the driver if you can somehow help them. Now, if you this driver is your employee, driving your own company truck, or if it's an O/O leased on to your own authority, there would be a lot more things do do.

I'm a double broker😂, we are try to cover the load for very expensive, for example the market price is $1600 i will try to get that load for $2000 and i sale the load to carrier for $1400-$1600. We are realy paying carriers its not problem but we are not aprrov from the WEX😂. The problem is another. when you are agreed with broker for good rate and you are already say them send it over he want to check your MC, but when they are checking and see the MC from CA or we are too new he dont work with us. now our MC from Glendel, CA in 27 august mc will be 3 mounth and we can work winy new companies like XPO and another. Now we are working with many bigest companyis like Uber freight and C.H robbinson and the we have a load board we get the load for 53ft dry van and sale for 26ft straight box truck😂 our profit is around $600-$1000. I have a load from IA going to CO i sale tle load and carrier not be in shpper at the appt time and the driver want at me $900 but i try to figuraute the situation and pay only $400😂
