The Bible says we, the church, are the temple. When Paul talks about the falling away in 2 Thes, this is the antichrist sitting in the "temple." We will see the church going over to the antichrist and the Spirit of lawlessness. We see it trending that way now. A spirit of entertainment, rock concerts, lack of holiness and reverence. The church looks more and more like the world. Hiw is that strategy restraining lawlessness. The restrainer, while not named in the bible, is restraining the events of the great tribulation. Satan is going to put Trump into a position where most will believe that he truly can save the world and many more will turn to him with the covenant of many. That's why the Bible tells us not to be focused on or to conform to the wicked world, if we befriend the world we become an enemy to God. Many will lack true faith in God and don't be able to let the world go and trust fully in God, the Bible even says before the AC is revealed to all there will be a great falling away of believers; an Apostasy.
