Files are only meant to cut in one direction, the opposite direction you are using yours, otherwise the files will be prematurely made dull. Love your videos, keep up the good work. :-)

Why on gods green earth would you pick nickel plated steel instead of pure nickel with a battery like this which is known for being difficult to spot weld? Nickel is the material of choice due to its low relative resistance and ease of spot welding. And then you proceed to try aluminum strips? Of course it's gonna be like a fire cracker, they are even worse! *Use pure nickel, not nickel plated steel strips*

Why bother with these Tesla cells? They seem like more trouble than they are worth, as they are neither high capacity not high discharge. Just for the fun of it, I'm guessing :-)
