How to spray paint brakes Fluro yellow

In this video I am spraying the black brembo brakes a fluro yellow colour.
Using spray cans. Ive got a heat proof primer, base and clear.

That is the job kids do on there cars because they want cheap! If you want to do it right you completely remove the calipers, strip and sand them down then paint with quality paints ---> not a rattle can! But if you want cheap this works.

Colour Code Ral 1026. I left the fluro basecoat an hour and then applied stickers/decals. It peeled the paint off. Make sure you leave it a good while!

Just to add Montana gold do a “flash yellow” can that is pretty much identical as far as I can tell. I have a room in my house that has accents in that color and the difference isn’t even noticeable

Looks great, this is much better than taking them off and doing it with the brush on stuff which is more expensive and you have to bleed the brakes too. Did you get overspray anywhere like on the inner fender tho?

LucasVWGolfR I would have but I was actually fixing a job that was totally stuffed. These were the products the guy had so I did the job with them. It's a bit more DIY friendly as well.

i reckon It is the normal auto paint, because he used high heat primer, therefore the base coat would still sit on primer. they charged 40AUD per can which is really expensive. If you have find the colour code, you can get it with half price of that. if anything is wrong, someone please correct me

I literally just sprayed my calipers today with fluorescent green but unfortunately I didnt use a mask the oadt 2 days I been painting. Hopefully nothing bad happens but the fluorescent spray was easy to ckean up but it floated a lot in the air around me which sucks

No hate, just wondering; why didn't you take the calipers off the car? Seems like more time was spent masking than it takes to bleed the brakes.. also the fenders and arches weren't masked off, so bound to have caught some overspray..

Stoor Zender Ive done both methods and it was heaps quicker just masking it up. Also the paint dries before it goes on the panels. The minimal spray dust that went on the panels washed off with ease.

Why don’t you take them off at least, you don’t have to disconnect the brake hoses but at least hang them down and paint them 360°
