Amazing, I do this too. Took me long time to get around to coming to this, but it is a wonderful technique and your blocks come out PERFECT, even though I waste slivers of fabric, makes for a beautiful finished product! And I've got so many rulers too. When you have lots of pinwheels to make, just wait, when you begin to put them together, magic happens all perfect.

I am doing a quilt that said to sew two 5" charms together all around edge 1/4" then cut into 4 triangles. Then says to block each to 3" block,,never done so sort of confused as they are only off a small amount at current. then they are going to become part of a flying geese pattern. watched video's, but don't want to mess up...

I'm confused as to which creative grids ruler to buy to square up HST. The ones with the 1/8" , the ones with the dots? Or do all work for that?

Hi Stacey! We do carry Creative Grids Square It Up rulers of different sizes that do help with squaring up HST, however, we also found that using painters tape or washi tape on any Creative Grids ruler can help in the same way. The same results are achieved either way! Hope this helps :)

@@FatQuarterShopTX I may not understand, but wouldn't you be able to line up your fabric with the number markings on the ruler and do the same thing without the painters tape?
