New developments pop up all the time in New York City, but how do developers get buyers to want to purchase a space before it's done being built? A model unit. It’s used as a sample to show how the actual unit will look, and it helps buyers envision how they’ll live in and use the space. Cheryl Eisen and her team at Interior Marketing Group are experts in putting in just the right amount of detailed work to help buyers decide to make the big purchase. She showed us exactly how her team does that as they staged a new boutique development in Chelsea.

While the people in the comments suck for acting lien interior designers I can say from personal experience that that is great value for 5.5 million in Manhattan, currently a studio apartment in a rat ridden pre war 4 story walk up no where near downtown is 2000 a month. A tiny studio in not even a prime location in Manhattan. When people say Manhattan is expensive they really mean it

My interior design professor always emphasized verbiage in design. For a “designer” to keep referring to Ikea and Scandinavian design to almost all of the products really devalues the “high quality” products she’s presenting buyers to.

The biggest issue with this unit is that it has NO storage spaces...imagine how messy it will look once you move in...
@YuhungAndLaika
@YuhungAndLaika 3 жыл бұрын
Usually high rise condo has storage units in parking areas. The storage units are either sold with the condo like parking lots, or sold separately with extra cost. Who ever going to spend 5.5 M for this condo, I believe the buyer definitely has the budget for a storage unit. Or, they can buy another condo for storage only! 😅🤣

@@lyler.1082 In styling/staging yes, but not for personal taste. This scandi-modern style is basically the beige of interiors. It's just to give an idea of what could be done there because consumers have their own aesthetics. It's also to emphasize the (potentials of the) space. Only if they like the style do they purchase the furnitures with the apartment, otherwise, it's sold empty.

They see furniture, So that they can have a vision of how they would place their own stuff & have an idea of how they could live in that place. The video shows that. She explained it also.

The price isn’t in the apartment itself, more like in the location. Apartments in Chelsea, Soho, Tribeca or Lower and Midtown Manhattan in general can have prices climb so high, a 500 square fr studio apartment can have rent up to 5000 to 6000 dollars a month depending on where they are. I live in Downtown Brooklyn and already the rent for my 1BR 1BTH apartment is 2500 and is probably shooting up soon 💁🏼‍♀️
