How to Stamp and Stencil a Cookie (aka Rose Lattice Cookie)

You asked! And this is my answer! After posting my cookie wedding cake box project (video here: • How to Assemble 3-D Co... ), I received loads of questions about how I made the rose lattice cookies that form its sides. Here, I explain it all - from stamping the roses, to giving them color with painting and dusting, to stenciling and applying the finishing beadwork, Enjoy! A NOTE ON RUBBER STAMPS:
Not all stamps and ink pads are food grade. I always recommend using food-grade tools on any products intended for consumption. Currently, the best sources of food-grade stamps and ink pads are:

I went with my friend who has never been there before and she went nuts with Bundt pans, cupcake cups, mini pound cake pans (they were ridiculously cute) paper lace doilies, and chocolate for melting. I really enjoyed this, you do an amazing job decorating as well as teaching. I really want to try this. I am a cake Decorator at our local store. When you do your bead work, your call it your bead consistency. I can't remember how many second the consistency is? Is it the thin one and about what count do you use? I looked on the Sweet Stampen website for the rose stamp but I cannot find it. Hobby Lobby and Michaels does not carry food grade stamps. I read that using anything else would leave toxins on the cookies.

Just fell into your world. Wow, good work. Making my famous Brownies, honey oatmeal cookies - sort of mini, AND mini brioche filled with pastry cream. That's the easy part. The hard part is how to present them. I'd thought I'd make a chocolate (dark) bowl or bundt cake mold to put the brownies in. (A: Should I use white chocolate instead dark chocolate for the contrast?) Secondly, for the cookies, I'd thought about using your recipe for gingerbread to make a BOX and decorated using your icing techniches on the outside, with the COVER being slightly larger as one might find on a REAL box. Thirdly, the brioche, I'd thought about making a bread basket, but seems a bit complicated. Any suggestions? I've a presentation on Saturday evening. Most imporantly, I live OUTSIDE the states in Italy, so we haven't the pastry supplies as one might find in the states. Thanks for your help......
