Brian Thomas I'm wearing neoprene wading boots. They are somewhat waterproof until you get more than ankle deep then water starts making its way in. If you're looking to keep your feet dry you'll have to consider some breathable waders and wading boots

Yeah I got my seat in the high position and I got my dock/retrieve leash. I could use it to help stand up with. I can balance like a cat even though I am a fat guy. My perception pescador 12 ft kayak tends to get tippy when I get half way up, but I didn't think about foot placement.

Are you able to adjust the seat while on the water? I have the same kayak and can stand & fish with no problem but adjusting the seat is almost out of the question due to having to twist around to do it.

Hey Jim! I just about leave my seat in the high position at all times I never really adjust it or flip it up while I'm out. When I have adjusted it in the past, I would reach between my legs to pull it up in a half squatting position.

Is a sundolphin kayak good for standing in? It's about 7 to 8 feet long and a good 2 to 2.5 feet wide. Max standing width is about 1.75 feet. I've always been intrigued on it but never got around to it. Thanks for your time, and great tips video!
