Being a veteran, I was an NCO so I was a team leader and part of my responsibilities included room inspections for my soldiers. I also had to lead by example and attention to detail was something I always focused on. It's carried with me since I discharged and I've always thought that I can actually do a better job at cleaning than literally everyone I personally know. The thought of starting my own cleaning business has crossed my mind from time to time over the years and it was nothing more than an idea when I never really knew what direction I wanted my life to go. Watching this video has definitely made me sit up and start thinking a lot harder about it. 🙌

@@UpFlip I've been a Realtor for 6 years. When I decided to become a Realtor I too was down to my last few rounds of money to pay bills. I was let go from my insurance job after almost 10 years and 20 years in the business. I had no plan or direction, just a dream. Becoming a Realtor is a lot of work and like with any start-up the key to success is being able to market yourself and your product. In my first year, I made 50k which was a living wage for me. In 2021 and 2022 I hit the 6 figure mark. My entire business has been based on word of mouth. Literally word of mouth. Facebook and Instagram posts weekly, very few paid ads, and maybe a few hundred dollars a year in mailers. 6 figures in an extremely saturated market almost solely based on word of mouth. That's how I know there is room at the table for everyone to eat.

yelp is horrible, and he "was" offering 3 hour deep cleanings at $90, so even if you were offering your cleaners $15 per hour 2 years ago, it wasnt the most from any state 2 years ago and your revenue was 50% cleaners, plus supplies , rent, equipment, and uniform plus ads , your revenue was 100% being eatin alive by expenses... just by looking at this video alone, your expenses is higher than most cleaning companies, you have home-based cleaning companies making over $100,000 and do not pay for commercial spaces, plus all of those cleaning supplies you were trying to sell thats no longer available on your site. PS. your B roll cleaner is using the cheap cleaning supplies, and not your branded supplies.

For me, It's been a year and a half. I am about to add an employee. You do a lot of hard work, You learn not to let people walk all over you, or use you like a babysitter job where they clean and babysit. You want people who respect what you do vs getting away with things at your price. You have to learn how to drop people to bring in better ones, or they can make your schedule miserable. Sometimes you'll have a group of people who will come down with the flu or 24-hour vomiting. To where you won't work for a whole week. Then your next week's clients and the ones that were behind cause a scheduling conflict. Can you have to ask everyone else to be flexible? So you can be working from sun up to sundown. It can also come down to psychological warfare for some clients. So pick and choose wisely. The clients I have today are very respectful. You also have to eat a lot of calories, because you're going to burn a lot of calories. Learn to let yourself get some rest and don't overdo it or you'll burn down and out. Lol. Also, You really have to like to clean. Not just do it for the money. Or it will get tedious and boring for you.

@mustang5010003 жыл бұрын
@@profitcleaners-growyourcle3030 No one claimed to make 8 figures. This is my point the title says$10 million but not actually the case. He said he made $750 K and then has projections to hit 7 figures next year. Plus we’re talking revenue not actual profits. A million a year ain’t jack if your profiting 10-20% then owner draw half of that maybe! Maybe make $100k maybe.

This is awesome! I live in the Midwest and the idea came to me a few times before; but this gives some real validation. I'm new to entrepreneurship, not currently in practice, still learning and wondering how to go about pricing. What advice would you have to someone who is an aspiring entrepreneur, in how to price the work? I don't want to charge too much or to little so how would I find a fair rate to change to be fair to the business and to the client?

I started cleaning houses in topsail Island North Carolina six years ago I worked for a real estate company for two years before I became a housing inspector and trained certain cleaners that were contractors for the company how to clean the houses. Unfortunately the company lost over 60 houses during the pandemic and lost a lot of their cleaners.These houses are multi million dollar houses right before the pandemic I open up my own cleaning business and I had three girls that were working for me my best weekend I made over $15,000. When the pandemic hit nobody wanted to work but the work was still steady there were so many houses that I had to clean I was just so overwhelmed I was cleaning up to nine houses in one day by myself. I had a burn out my two girls do not wanna work for me because of the pandemic and it was too much of a workload I try to look for me but they did not want to work. Now I’m working for a real estate company in Emerald Isle North Carolina. They do a lot of beach house cleanings and it just makes me want to go back into reopening my cleaning business in the spring of 2022. The income potential is unlimited. I just do not see the points of me working for somebody inspecting houses. I really want to be my own boss again. Hopefully the pandemic will slow down so where I can go start my business all over again from scratch. This entire time live in inspecting houses on MRI all I’ve been taking pictures of the before and after pictures of the houses that I hope the cleaners clean and I train them. These are huge houses the biggest house that I’ve had was over 10,000 ft.². The real estate company made $4000 off at the contract cleaners only made $800 from it. I took them all day to clean it. It runs out for $22,000 for a vacation rental.
