You need DOT Specimen Collector training, BAT training (Alcohol) just to start out. Hope this helps

DOT specimen training. I went through the actual DOT website. You will read over few documents and take a test. After completion of the test you will have to go live with a trainer to complete your 5 mocks. You will know how to complete these from the readings and videos shown to you. When you complete 5 mocks correctly you’ll be given your certification. After they’ll set you up with an account. Send all your supplies FREE. Then it’s up to you how to market your business!

It depends on what type of testing you want to do. Quest Diagnostics give free training on hair , oral and urine. Once completed you get your certification

Interesting how an employer requires drug testing, but the State Welfare institutions do not require drug testing to give away funding to individuals on financial and food assistance

Most people on welfare are disabled . Most disabled people have chronic illnesses . Most chronic illnesses requires long term medication treatment .Many pain medication treatment can result in a positive drug test .

@@thediaryoftaelynn4416 the State Disability program is a completely different institution thus individuals on Disability benefits have been declared by a medical physician as disabled, so they do not qualify for State Welfare. People on disability cannot collect food stamps ) their income is calculated based on the Disability and what their cost of living has been. The welfare program is typically for single mothers with children, and the CoC is for the homeless which provide them with foodstamps, cash aid, gasoline cards and hotel vouchers. Keep in mind that people on welfare have not been declared to be disabled or mentally incapable of working.

I’ve been in the nursing field for over 18 years and have helped disabled individuals get qualified for Medicaid, passport, food stamps, and housing. You have no idea what you’re talking about and your bias opinion comes with little facts and a lack of knowledge. What is the logic in making a person on welfare test for drugs? There are a lot of individuals that are on drugs and receive assistance. Mainly because being on drugs is considered an illness. Being on drugs doesn’t mean you’re lazy and definitely shouldn’t mean you’re not allowed to receive help that was made to help people with illnesses and disadvantages. Get out of your very small bubble and mind the business that pays you!
